This is a cool boutique hotel I stayed in for almost a month in Venice. We also hosted our photo workshop here, so we would all gather here every day to work on photos together and I would do some teaching while helping people out with their own photos. Flying over the bleak icescape of Antarctica allows for countless minimalist scenes. I was very lucky to be part of the Antarctica NZ team. This means we had access to quite a few helicopter flights... I was able to get my camera out the window to take some of these photos... but wow were my fingers ever cold.
