Here's a new photo of the Matterhorn I finished a few weeks ago. I took this while I was in Zermatt, which is one of my favorite Swiss places! If it looks like it was cold there, well, yes, yes it was. Over 500 people have died trying to climb to the top. This is one of many reasons I did not attempt a climb to the top.

I visit a lot of temples in China. And I mean, a lot. I know this sounds jaded, but they are all pretty similar at some point. So similar as to be almost mind-numbingly similar. But, in a way, this is good because it challenges me to find new perspectives and ideas with a fairly limited palette. Here are some of the offerings that pilgrims come to hang and twist in the breeze, clacking away.

I can't wait to go back to Oman! I've been to many many countries, and I can say that the people in Oman were amongst the nicest people I've met in my entire life. I've also noticed that the nicer the people in a culture, the more they are happy with you taking photos. This is not that surprising of a corollary, but an important one to note.
By the way, this is not a picture of MY family in Oman.
