AI Mind-Benders
After Google hosted me for a huge PhotoWalk, we ended at this Italian restaurant atop a building in Harajuku. There were over a hundred people inside at the party. I gave a speech about the effects of Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock prints on the Impressionist movement and how this tradition now continues as we all influence one another. Right after that, I discovered there was a huge balcony out the side door with an amazing view of the city! I went out there with Vic Gundotra, Bradley Horowitz and a few others to grab a shot of the view. Harajuku, Tokyo, Japan
This is a rather unique Quiver tree, on the edge of the largest canyon in Namibia. Every one of these trees is totally unique, and one never looks like another. They feel a bit like humans or words in that way, and how they work in context to one another and the environment is as interesting as their individual shape. One evening, the sky was as clear as still water and everything came out in context behind and through the tree. Visrivier Canyon, Namibia
I went to Tokyo with my son Ethan one time and we spent a big chunk of the trip just exploring all the neighborhoods. It was a cold winter, and there was frigid rain falling most of the time but that made for amazing photos because Japanese people look so awesome in their stylish clothes, all holding different sorts of umbrellas.
