I've started playing more with landscape shots and not showing the horizon line. I think in landscape photography, typically you always see some kind of horizon, or at least have a general sense of where it is. This gives the viewer a certain amount of context as to what is going on. But, by removing that context and completely obscuring the horizon, it becomes a bit more mysterious and abstract. Try experimenting with this… just little ideas here and there. Queenstown, New Zealand
We visited several of the mosques in Cairo and they were all visually interesting. I'd say they are not nearly as "fancy" as the ones in the Middle East like UAE, Qatar, etc. The ones in Egypt had more of an industrial and more harsh "dirty" feel, if you will. Not that this is a bad thing, just a bit different. Cairo, Egypt
I recently went on a London-in-the-rain editing kick! I was going back through my Lightroom and looking at older photos to edit that I had never even touched yet. I found this whole grouping and went for it. I went a little crazy that night and probably wandered around London for 4-5 hours till 2 AM when I was completely exhausted. London, England
