I would head here almost every night to watch the sunset across the reflecting pool at the Ritz-Carlton in Koh-Samui, Thailand. I even thought about getting a place here for a while, and I still haven't totally given up on that idea. Thailand would actually be a super cool place to live, I think... This was my 7th trip to Kyoto, but my first one with the Hasselblad. Something about having a new toy changes the texture of a photo adventure, I think!
