This is Lake Hayes in Arrowtown, New Zealand. I try to come here at least once a week to have a run around the lake. It's 8KM around and a little bit hilly. It's always gorgeous, as you can see. Maybe half the time, there is no wind at all, so you get this incredibly glassy reflection. This was taken in the middle of winter, where the colors are the blandestβ¦ but, as you can see, βblandβ colors in New Zealand are pretty electric! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
So this was taken directly over my home. It was made of 4 or 5 photos with the DJI Phantom quad. I stitched them all together using Lightroom, then ran them through Aurora HDR before doing those finishing touches you see above with the noise reduction tip. It was a fun project! π - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Tane spends a lot of time rubbing his young fingers all over his phone. As long as he was doing that here inside one of the most beautiful cathedrals in the world, I thought I would take his photo while the world moved on around him! π Note that all these colors are real, formed by the multicolored stained glass windows that illuminated the ceiling. I was actually here on a rainy day, so I imagine on a sunny day, it's even more vibrant. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
