A Day at Work in Madagascar

Every morning along the beach I would see these beautiful women carrying all sorts of things on their heads. They wear special sunscreen that makes their face a bright yellow that is rather striking. Since there are not many tourists there, these women are not used to having their photos taken. Although she looks a little annoyed in this photo, after I took it and smiled at her she gave me one of the biggest and friendliest smiles I had ever seen. It was too late to capture that moment as I had already lowered my camera to give her my Ratcliff Round-River smile. Antananarivo, Madagascar
